Thread: car seat

In Bangkok for a few days and would like advice as to where I can get a comfy car seat for my daughter. Something on the sky train would be good. I don't know Bangkok well but want my daughter to be strapped in for our trip, as well as not getting use to not having to be in one. She likes sitting in it in the USA. Wouldn't want to get back and have her refuse to sit in one or throw a tantrum. I know you don't need one here, just looking for a place that sells them. Not a tesci like operation. Thanks!

would've thought anyone of the 'central's would be able to sort you out. they have stuff for kids and they're on the bts...chid lom could well be easiest, one stop down from siam.

Central or The Emporium are far superior in choice and quality (though not necessarily price) to Robinsons IME.

I can't remember where I saw a shop (definitely a major mall somewhere) and there were like 15,000 baht or something.

Bring your one from home with you or borrow one from Aging One. I have done both. Bringing them on any airline does not incur any extra cost or affect your luggage limit, same as prams (strollers).

You'll find one in any department store for about 4,000BHT. most are made here for shipping to europe so quality's not a problem

Got it at a robinsons. 3990, so it was what i expected. nice and plush as well. she'll be happy, fits nicely in the backseat of the ranger.
