I would marry the lady, move to Thailand with her and be a house husband, take care and raise the new born child to the best of my ablility. That's just me though.

From what I've read you can't live in Thailand married to a Thai national and obtain a visa without a combined income of at least 40,000 baht a month for the household. I'd have to live there illegally, make no money, and do a visa run every three months which might soon be out of the question with the new restrictions. With that said, or should I say written for those out there that can't think critically, the option of being a house husband is out of the question.
^ Ish....quite a few ways around it though mate!!!
What new restrictions mate? You seem to know more than I do? Tell me more please?![]()
I stated my opinion right at the start of this thread and it is still the same: you are making too many piss-poor excuses instead of trying to come up with real solutions to your unfortunate situation. Don't expect your girlfriend to abandon her siblings, that just ain't cricket mate, so you must start considering a move here if you want to have a relationship with your child.
For the record I am a house-husband and I am certainly not breaking any laws by living in this way. As KK said there are perfectly legal ways of meeting the criteria.

^ Well sort of ish kinda perfectly legal mate....err....nudge nudge wink wink![]()
I'm doing it that new way that I told you about a while ago, not the old way which was slightly glossing over the truth.
^ To be honest mate it's nigh on impossible to be 100% legal here....even if you're doing it more legally now I'd put money on it's still not 100% legit!!!
So one minute everyone is saying how common the scenario is for girls to try this....and now it's a wind up?

It's happened three times to me mate. Twice it was the real deal, once it was a wind-up. Happened with a couple of lasses back home so not a Thai thing per se.
