If you have kids with an interest in video games (this one even provides physical exercise), you need this.
How's the U.S. JD? Can you see the recession where you are?
I met an American yesterday who comes from a farming region in the west and he said he couldn't see it at all when he was back there last month.
I'm sure it's very different in other areas though.
But, as with H1N1, the media isn't helping either.
Although I'll never make a good Texan I have to say it ain't too bad.
Property value here was never inflated so it never cashed. It's cheaper than I ever imagined, cheaper than Thailand in many ways.
It's very quiet in my neighborhood. And those who walk dogs carry a pooper-scooper and a plastic bag.
No cheap cars left .. cash for clunkers took them all.
Glad to hear from ANOTHER American that it's not as bad as the media is making out!!
My older children LOVE computer games (I'm a "meany" and give time limits!) They have the X-box but tried the Wii at my parents' house while back in the UK...THEY LOVED
IT...HOWEVER, SPACE is important when playing Wii, my parents are in their 50s and my girls were FAAAAAR more active using the thing than them! Suffice to say (putting it lightly!) that things got broken in their excitement and people got smacked in the face/other body parts if they ventured too close to children waving body and arms around playing Wii!!
Good games - but ought come with a health warning to those happening to come into the vicinity of the player/s!

I read it all, every word, and I still don't understand a thing. Travis
You have to get the extension games. The sports that come with it seems to get old. Great idea tho.
My daughter finally wore me down so I bought one today![]()
Can I copy wii disks - are free programmes available to make backups of disks?
I've googled and there seems to be a few issues - breaking warranties, quite a few programs that claim they can copy but cost money.
Any suggestions.....just want to back up my disks![]()
Yes very easily...you just need an SD card and you have to download some software onto it.
You simply insert it into the wii and it starts the Bannerbomb hack which l;ets you run the Homebrew Channel. Once you have this installed the world is your oyster. I would also install Bootmii which allows you to make a back-up of your system's factory settings, and keep it somewhere safe.
Best thing is that you can use a USB harddrive to store and run all your games off. Mario Kart is easily the most addictive game on the Wii.

Don't get me wrong - I don't want a 'serious' board but I'd like posts to be either genuinely amusing, informative and/ or thought provoking.

I really liked the trauma centre games
DOCTOR!
Yeah I like them too, but I lost interest when I kept having to do the pentagram gesture to slow down time as I was crap at it.
yeah is really hard to do that
just sold my wii...i downloaded over 50 games & rarely played on it.. most of the games I downed I never even played
My kids love the Xbox 360 and they bought themselves a Live membership so they can play online. I'm seriously concerned that these games may become addicting.
Obama's loyal fans will follow him right right into Hell. Then, when they get there, they'll blame the heat on global warming caused by Republicans.
gee ya think?

I find that Mario Kart has a real family binding thing to it...both Kan and I enjoy playing together, my daughter likes messing about on it, and she also picks which circuit we play, addictive but in a social way.
