The other week when I went to pick up my kid from school at the front gates I saw this massive banner with a pic of my child in the forefront.
My initial reaction was one of pride( and still is), but on reflection I thought they should have asked for our permission to use her pic.
When schools use pics of children to market their school do you think they should get parental permission or that they have carte blanche as the kids are enrolled?
What are your thoughts?

At our place it's part of the deal that the parents sign up for, written down on the agreement between school and parent. Give consent for the school to use photos of _____ for purposes of marketing, etc.
