OK, I've taken care of the spiders in the kitchen, the ants in the kitchen and front entrance, now I have mosquitoes in the bedroom. I don't see them until the morning when I get up and they're in my bed, at the head. I always find around 10 there and some dead ones on the floor.
I close the windows and put the air on at around 7 or 7:30 every night and I don't see any mosquitoes all night, only when I get up in the morning. Where do they come from? How do they get into the bedroom to suck my apetizing blood? How can I get rid of them without spraying toxic chemicals into my bedroom?
Maybe its time to invest in bug netting to fortify your bed
How big is the gap under your front door?
Do you have all windows screened?
Do the maids come in during the day and leave the doors open?
Do you have a small pond somewhere in your apartment?
Big enough for ants to come in and for me to hear my neighbour's awful music.Originally Posted by expatwannabe

Is there any natural repellent? They love me.
They love me, too. I might suggest that you buy the small version of one of those electric mosquito zappers - the hanging kind. They attract mosquitos (not sure how) and they fly into the mesh and get fried.
Either that or the mosquito netting that richie suggested.
We get very few where I am because the only way in is through the front door. And luckily I have a Thai living with me -- he's expert at chasing them down with the mosquito bat.
Q. What's the difference between a blonde and a mosquito?
A. When you slap the mosquito it stops sucking.

Thanks expat, I'll check out my local market for one of those.
And, errrrrr, thanks Deaner.
Just here to help .
The Paradorn mozzie killers work well. Good exercise too.
Beware of tennis elbow though.
maybe you're breathing too heavily at night.
sounds like the crotch crickets are killing the misquitoes. you are a well balanced eco-system. you could screen the crotch crickets in (wear clothes to bed) but that wouldnt fix your mosquito problemOriginally Posted by natalie8
How d'ya get rid of the ants? Mozzies don't bite me but the ants right give me the shits.
Excuse me for not taking this seriously .....
The best thing I've found is ant traps that are a greeny-yellow colour. They come in a package that has a clear plastic cover on the front and orange and yellow cardboard on the back.Originally Posted by defender
They're only around 69 baht and they're everywhere. You open the little envelope of pellets and put them into the trap. The ants come and take the pellets back to their nest, feed them to the queen and they ALL DIE.
Interesting, where d'you get them?
Tesco, Big C, Tops and maybe more places.
