As i1der said, we're talking about Air Asia here.
If you do have an international connection to make and don't want to use AA, you can fly into Don Muang and take the Airport Express (150baht) which goes between the two airports from 0500-2400 or take the city bus (34 baht), line 554 or 555.

Re: Air Asia Rant
I am all about Air Aisa Rant, he isn’t - with his whatever red led... has been begging for it straight from the beginning.
Read the last 25 posts…
There is nothing childish at making a point; besides he is not “invited”, but ordered to present himself for a nasty nose bleed!
Feeling me?
There is nothing wrong in teasing someone on a forum board; there is whole difference when bluntly insulting another under the pretext of anonymity, and from the comfort of privacy…
My patience has a limit, and as I already mentioned, I am not a happy camper since my return from Phuket. I was truly expecting to meet with someone, but it has been decided otherwise…

Re: Air Asia Rant
So dont bring you outside problems to the board 5. You aint gonna win an argument with him and if you notice his reds you may see others feel the same.

This isn't so much a notice from the grammar police--as I wouldn't be able to make the force--but more of a tip for those who wish to post unfriendly comments.

It happens PB. Threads get derailed. This one has been for quite some time now.

I'll presume that wasn't directed at me. That did sound like a bit of a "let's step outside" comment though. Watch yo'self as High 5 has already demonstrated his propensity for violence.

Even ECC pays more than that (280). I wouldn't work there but some folks do. They pay some of the lowest advertised wages on the island.
You're assertions are constantly erroneous. Either that, or your just a sorry troll. Either way, eat some red ya dildo.
|
Let me do some math for you Ms. English Teacher. There are currently two jobs listed on ajarn for Phuket. Both pay 30,000 thb per month. The hours are 7:30-16:30, NINE HOURS PER DAY. That would be 189 hours per month. A whopping 158.7 thb per hour! Your grandma will be proud. That's less than 5 bucks per hour. Pay for your own Non-Imm B and of course the Thail Culture class and your wages keep shrinking. That is if you could actually get the "B" without getting laughed out of Panang.
You state that ECC pay 280 per hour. They will tell you to come to the center an hour before class, for the van ride to the school, then another van ride home, you will NOT be getting paid for that time. If you did an exhausting 30 classes per week, you would be making considerably less than a MCD employee, anywhere in the USA.
As for my comments about the DisneyWorld travellers--I stand by them. Low Five even proves my point. This is based on two years living in LOS, and trips dating back to 1998.
The lowest priced accomodations on PrecisionReservations were over 1000 thb per night.
If you want to find me, I'll be at a Thai bar, priced lower than 7-11, with some folks having a good time. Not a bunch of tatooed, pierced, sun-deprived Brits, rooting for some white trash soccer team.

How does that work in your world?
LOS Quality Time? Give yourself a favor and visit PEGASUS...
Anyway, when I travel I like a little comfort... I don't fly 12 hours to seat on a cardbox, seeping a home made -viskey- by a 7/11 neon's light...

Re: Air Asia Rant
Five, Pegasus said "under construction." My local spot has 4 large Leo's for 120 thb. Cute waitresses, nice music, bug lights, the works. That's what I'm talkin' about. I'm all up for a good reservation site if you know of one. I gotta have fridge, a/c, fan, satellite--that's why I bought my own place--love it.
How much were you paying for beers in HKT?

Re: Air Asia Rant
Hi all,
My first time posting on here but have been on here and read many times.
I am thinking of doing the tesol course and venturing overseas to teach and travel.
I am travelling to Thailand in May and are heading to Phucket and to Koh Samui and was looking at flights on air Asia. Its only an hour flight so can't be that bad. Would you guys recommend it or another carrier.
Your help is much appreciated.

Re: Air Asia Rant
Ignore the complaints dino.
You have a 1 in 5 chance of being delayed, if it doesn't bother you that you might be a little late then go for it.
