Sounds like they suck big time, but it's not easy listening to someone on an international phone line with a noisy background, who's not speaking your native tongue and is saying 'F for Frank' impatiently I bet they're not a great company to work for.
I think a lot of other Thai companies would struggle with this too.
Good luck

I don't think Thais use the Nato phonetic alphabet.
They seem to prefer countries - A for America, D for Denmark, N for Norway, etc. At least that's what the woman at Air Asia used with me a few years back.

Re: Air Asia Rant
You ain't experienced jack until you've flown Southwest in the states. Air Asia's a full service airline by comparison.

...and X for...?
A for apple, S for sugar are common ones I hear with UK travel agents, but the phonetic alphabet is in quite common use these days. It's excellent...as long as everyone understands It must be like double dutch if you've never been exposed to it, or the concept of quoting words to clarify letters. I can just see the Thai's expression as you spell your name - Juliet Oscar Hotel November Sierra Mike India Tango Hotel 'Arai wah?'
Heard someone saying October (for 0) once on a police radio, which caused a few chuckles. Worked though.

Pannie I love giving the Candies as much shit as the next Merkin, but how 'bout some originality fer Christ's sake?
Canada and the N American continent: Jefferson bought got the best, they got the rest.
Unfortunately, their dollar is stronger than ours just now so the laugh is on our dumb-ass.

I thought "French-like cahoots in Queerbec" somewhat original.

It's Labatt's Blue, Crew, get it right, you Budweiser drinker.
Our dollar is stronger than yours, (although not as strong as it was a month ago)

You should know by now that picking on typos is not an enduring quality. FYI, I love the blue and red bottles equally.
