Have you met any Thais who go to Phuket? Or Chinese, Japanese or Koreans? I doubt they fit your profile either. I was holding off handing you the reds, but now you will receive one.

So they make six bucks an hour???

6USD X 32THB = 192 THB

Even ECC pays more than that (280). I wouldn't work there but some folks do. They pay some of the lowest advertised wages on the island.

You're assertions are constantly erroneous. Either that, or your just a sorry troll. Either way, eat some red ya dildo.

The expert has proven us both wrong. Funny he quoted my entire post, but he only wants to point out the distance between BKK and HKT.

No need to be puerile or sarcastic, flying 1, 5 or 10 hours is not the point. The point is that when people book a ticket together they generally expect to be seated next to each other… We didn’t know that it was a charter type flight, first come, first served.

Thai Air has very competetive pricing now. The last 3 times I used them, their rates were lower than Air Asia.

domestically maybe - but Air Asia are still usualy cheaper than Thai domestically too - if you book suitably far enough in advance.

Now try comparing a TG and a FD or AK flight betwen BKK and KUL or SIN!

Charter flight?? - research the airline your booking a ticket on in future. Air Asia are not the only low cost carrier on earth who do not have reserved seating - its not a new concept.

DAD? im 26 years old - and you havent hurt my feelings one bit - your the one who is upset because of your uninformed decision making and the hour long flight you had to spend away from your friend.

Well this has developed into quite the productive thread.

LDMA, maybe we need one of those kiddie room--like what they have over on the other channel.

HAHA – Boarding gate, I have with me a little bottle of water, they have Ziploc bags for that purpose, and I offered without luck the lady boy to take a sip of the water to show him/her that it wasn’t liquid C4. Nope Senior, you have to discard the water or drink it all before crossing the gates…

Wile in the waiting room, my traveling partner laughed when pointing at folks drinking their water…
I am new in the Thai world, and start to build the feeling that if you are over nice with those folks they surely love to screw you…

I know, I know. Between us, I bet we've got damn near a decade of residency on Phuket. To which $100/night hotel were you sending your friends? Isn't that 32THB water tasty? That cheaper stuff is for the minions that are making $6US/hour. I'm off to buy my 5,570THB ticket to BKK. But it's worth money as it's 2,000km away.

WTF are these guys???

Sorry Crew mate – My bad on me, I enjoyed trolling those two –

What happened is that we were walking in the mall next to Carrefour on Rachada when we came across this travel agent… well... she was a cuty!

I dared my visiting friend to fly to Phuket the next morning… he double dared me to fly there without any hotel reservation during pick season, I triple dared him to find a room with patio on the sand – This SoB won… we were walking from the coffee table straight into the water…
That's why we paid +1000 on the original price using a third party, and we also had a 250 Baht fine for using a CC...

HaHaHa having a good laugh!

Any who! The service sucked!

I thought it was common knowledge (for those that have flown before), that you cannot take water through security..but you can buy water at the many stores in the departure area. You must be a new flyer.

Also, how did you not know that Air Asia was a charter airline? If you would of researched online, you would of discovered that it is first come first serve seating. Next time you'll know, won't cha?
