I'm pretty sure The Body Shop has them. They have a metal tin type thing with the solid shaving soap inside.

I use The Body Shop's For Men Shave Cream. It comes in a tube/tub and it works for me. As far as I know The Body Shop doesn't carry shaving bars/soaps. You could try Marks and Sparks. Beware though that Body Shop and M&S products are heavily marked up here because of the high import tax. I usually get mine from Singapore.

My Thai barber shave me when he cuts my hair, nice chap with faily good unlund. he just uses normal soap, Camay I believe. He simply reccomends that the beard be wetted down first, then using a brush the normal soap be lathered in for a few minutes to really soften the hair. cold water only, and a cold towel impregnated with some balm after the shave and rinse.

Works for me, even at home, though I freely admit to being too cowardly to use the open blade my barber uses.

This is good stuff but I've never seen it in Southern Thailand. Used to use it in Brasil and like it alot.

Now I just use regular soap, the old Parrot brand works very well, gives a painfree shave and is inexpensive.

i Brouught two cans from Wal-mart for 1.29 each. I mistakingly left one in my carry on, and it was nabbed at TSA. Kind of ruined my day. My stainless steel cookware, 100% cotton socks and bedsheet set arrived fine , though.
