I have seen several shop houses on my soi where the owners set out large potted plants in the soi at the edge of the property line. This may be a solution for you since you won't be parking there now anyway. If they break your pots, they would need to pay for them.
If they're not learning, you're not teaching.
Great news. We found a hidden moo ban at the end of the soi we are living on. We viewed the Townhouse earlier this evening. Two bedrooms, 3 bath, living room, dining room, maid's quarters, laundry area, kitchen with stove and cupboards, security at the moo ban entrance. The price is 12,000 bt/month, which is only 1,000 bt/month more than we pay now (if you factor in the parking cost). We'll move in mid-month of October. I'm very excited.
Perhaps I should thank those hooligans next door for forcing us to find this gem of a townhouse.
...you get what you need.

Don't forget to go back and pay the hooligans an early morning visit a few months after you move.![]()
We could all sit outside on banana lounges discussing the best way to rebuild a 4WD transmission and agree, through shared stories of conquests supporting our assertions, that there is no basis to the proposition that those least assured of their persuasions are the first to condemn others for theirs.
Good things come to good people. So nice to hear we have a good ending. Now let the landlord try to rent it again.

delighted to hear it worked out for ya hamster!
Hamster,
Why don't you have a moving out party (after you've moved, but before you've turned over the keys). Invite a bunch of us over for a BBQ and beer. Perhaps a great way to say goodbye to your neighbors.![]()
