Our landlady reckons we have to pay our rent into one particular branch of UOB. This hasn't been a problem up to now as I work near the bank but now I am changing jobs it is not going to be convenient.
Anyone know if she's right, or could we pay in at any branch of UOB?
Why not just pay by ATM transfer? It's quick and easy.
Odi et amo. Quare id faciam, fortasse requiris? Nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior.
You just need the other person's account number and it's one of the services on any Thai ATM.
Go to ATM and choose other service and then bank transfer and then you can transfer any sum to their bank by then entering their account number. It will confirm the name and then you just hit send and it's instant.
It will also print out a receipt to confirm the transfer.
^ I used that for my rent with Siam Bank. It was great.
Yeah that's how Iused to pay my rent with Bangkok Bank ATMs -think the fee was 25 baht to transfer to an account with another bank. Painless.
