Where I got my Thai Bank Account on a Tourist Visa
For anyone on a tourist visa that wants to open a bank account, I was able to open one at Thanachart Bank, 591 Phet Kasem Road, Bangwa, Phasi Charoen
All I did was bring my passport and a copy of my condo lease. My account is an ATM account.

Ok, I got mine at Kasikorn Bank on Lang Suan. I attempted it at many other banks though I cannot remember them all. The ones in MBK denied me. The ones on Soi 3 denied me.

initially they will say no. ask them to call the bkk supervisor who will tell them that a passport and proper visa are all that is required. did twice, last time was yesterday.
