I know this may be a tough find but here goes.
I'm looking for someone who makes handmade shoes. I suppose Bangkok is the most likely place to find someone. It's a fine point on differences but an important point. I'd like to find someonen who makes a more european style shoe than just pumping out a cheaper machine mfg'ed shoe. I'm actually looking to learn but the prices for a lot of schools that teach it are crazy.
I wasn't able to locate it exactly but while walking around in Chinatown in BKK I saw some parts related to it so there must be something close going on.
Appreciate anyone in the know!!

how could i have overlooked something so obvious! if anyone knows shoes...
so if one were pining for a spiffy pair of black oxfords made to spec, who might one employ? i've already got the black socks. and shorts.
