Yeah, and a 12% ROI is a really shitty return for a PI investment. You can get that in America with much less risk.

    Buddahas,

Of course you can hire property management companies in Canada who will do just as you describe. I have investments in Canada, as well. And depending on the market it can just add up to forced savings. Quite often you're just plain down.

And there are problems in the Philippines for certain. That's why I haven't bought anything there yet. I don't have connections that I trust.

As I mentioned, however, if my place lay vacant...I can just use it. It's also difficult in some places, Cebu, for example, for foreigners to get decent places for reasonable rates. So some will pay a year up front...

And again, re-read what I wrote. I never *advised* anyone to do anything. I suggested people can consider it as an option. I don't make anything off of anything I type on this board...

    *tough crowd*

    Why fuck around with Philippines?
Or Gadsden AL. A return of 15% is doable. Or buy some REIT like CIM or ANH or NLY and sell call options to boost the double digit dividends.

    Or do hard money loans.

If REITs are getting airtime on Ajarn, I know the market has fully inflated.

    Sorry, missed this...

This link doesn't show term deposits or property with some type of stable return. It's stocks. It's just gambling.

As I mentioned, if I couldnt rent a place in the Philippines I can at least stay in it. I'll be back there in a couple months...

*hope I don't get suckered into buying a place*

And on a serious note, it is so hard to find Filipinos to trust. The ones in the Philippines and abroad. And they wouldn't even let me open a bank account there, even if I made a significant investment (ok, well significant for me...).

I had a Filipino clean my apartment last month. Her and her partner cancelled the first day. Then when they came they stole all the money I left for supplies (no reciept and no change), stole a newly bought cleaning brush, and ate my food...

Where was that link for stocks again?

    ^

    Glad to return the favor...

Because when you claim that you can show someone how to make a high return on their money...then provide a link to stocks, some of which are 52% DOWN over the last year, it also shows a healthy sense of humor.

Why don't you ask me how to get pussy. I can just point at a gaggle of females.
