I got through the first one

    (no small feat)

    ....................

    typical civil servant....

Talk but ensure you say nothing...........

Staff of 28 and 1000 cases in Thailand last year=overstaffed.

She truly is boring, as reflected by what looks like an utterly bored audience.

.....and I'm betting one half of the audience our either consular workers being kind, or people looking for special favours.

Not to be too harsh here but it really does look like a waste of taxpayer money.....

Like she said , it's all on the website.
“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

She seemed like a sad, lonely woman, but very nice. I always liked English civil servants and admin people--they had less of a sense of entitlement than American government workers (especially those hired to fill racial quotas and who knew they couldn't get fired) and seemed genuinely interested in helping people. I'd love to have a drink with her.

I thing she goes wrong right from the get go

    Something like....

I have been instructed to come here and......

    .................................................. ...
    (X25)

I'd probably enjoy a drink with her myself.

I always enjoy talking to civil servants outside their workplace....

..............most are pretty damned tight assed.

    ...............I'm guessing she's tight assed.

She can buy the first round and put it on the consular division tab.

For a British Consular official, she sure gives misleading advice. That stuff about the passport is inaccurate. There is no law in Thailand which states that foreigners must carry a passport on them. There is a law which states that all people must carry some form of government ID. Small difference, but a difference that might reduce the number of lost and stolen passports and thus the work of the consular staff.

GMD continuing his one man crusade to promote Amurrrrricaa

Daniel Bedingfield claimed that his new album is what it would sound like if Sting, Stevie Wonder and Micheal Jackson were in a basement together - I haven't got the album so I'll have to imagine the sound of a blind bloke and a Geordie kicking the shit out of a pedophile.
