    I live near Phahon Yothin MRT. It's amazing - 3 minutes to Chatuchak/transfer to BTS, or 15 mins to Asoke.

    I took the train to my hotel from the airport to bts nana, after a 13 hour flight no probs it's easy peasy I had 3 bags :-)

    this is not a problem if you get your taxi from the official taxi stand. on the other hand, if you get your guy from where they're dropping off departures, you avoid that 50 baht surcharge and probably don't have to queue for it...
