Would you admit Hales that there are a certain group of people who tend to have a conspiratorial explanation for everything that happens.
These are the folks I call the "conspiracy guys"
I don't think there is a person like that currently on the forum.
But they're out there.
I meet lots.
I'm saying there is the minutest of chance of government involvement in this incident.
That's my considered opinion.
What the big deal.
Take it easy

Don't let the sound of your own wheels
Make you crazy
Sorry, not Lou Dobbs, Dan Rather maybe.
Betcha it will turn out to be some poor Oswald-type redneck sod who got the plans from the Internet. Then a few reliable (court case familiar) psychologists will deem him insane and new news will be renewed of a new need for Internet governance in short order. Moral of the story .. Internet bad, New York's finest law enforcement money can buy, good.
We'll know if he was breast or bottle fed in the coming days.
Feds/NYPD will wrap this quick. The boy left a good trail.
The cops are looking for balding, middle-aged white man...
The hunt is on in the U.S. for a balding, middle-aged white man who seen taking off his shirt near the car where the New York bomb was found.
Surveillance video shows him slipping down an alley close to Times Square and taking off a shirt, revealing another underneath.
In the same clip, he's seen looking back in the direction of the smoking vehicle and furtively putting the first shirt in a bag.
The folks in charge are going to have to make an arrest in the next day or two.
My thoughts are now in the direction of someone with clear psychological issues.

The white guy turned out to be an unrelated asshole. I', sure you know that Times Square is an asshole magnet.
The FBI has arrested a 30-year old Bridgeport, Connecticut man in connection with the failed attempt to set off a car bomb in New York's Times Square, federal authorities told ABCNews.com late Monday night.
The man was identified as Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized American citizen, who had recently returned from a five month trip to Pakistan and the city of Peshawar, a known jumping off points for al Qaeda and Taliban recruits.
Shahzad was arrested at Kennedy airport in New York City where FBI agents said he was attempting to leave the country to go to Dubai.
At a press conference early Monday morning, Attorney General Eric Holder said "it's clear that the intent behind this terrorist act was to kill Americans." He urged American to "remain vigilant."
