So is Stamp the new KenKaniff of teacher licensing? He seems really knowledgeable.

You'd think a teaching site would have copies of WP's legal parts scanned in so everyone could read the legalese in them. After all, it's not like most here have ever seen a work permit.

Heck, it's not like they've changed in the last 10 years. Why hasn't someone made them accessible?

It's pretty clear in some cases.

All work done outside of your WP's designated work place is in violation of the WP regulations unless prescribed by the Ministerial Regulation.

    For example.

Let's hope no one is asked to go on a field trip or a competition in another school.

Any laws or formal rules are subject to interpretations. They're followed by precedents after which empirical use will follow.

So as you're working in Thailand illegally, according to Thai legislation, do you keep your fine money close to hand or are just going to play it as it comes?

Playing it as it comes then.

Not the smartest for an illegal foreign worker here.

sophistry's a fine sport, but there's probably a reason why it hasn't made either the ancient or modern Olympics.

They thought about it, but there were too many silly, multicoloured Olympic hoops to jump through to get the official license. So they just kicked back and chilled out instead.

'Gold' is a state of mind for those feeling inadequate.

    Hoop jumping for nothing.

    The intelligent pass.

nah i'm pretty sure there's more to Olympic gold than that...

however, you might be onto something. Usain Bolt does seem a tad insecure.
