I don't know if this applies to the Thai too but Chinese believe having the pinky finger longer than the line of the last section of the ring finger will bring "wealth". So for people who has short pinky finger, they grow their nail long enough to exceed that line on the ring finger.
Of cos some grow them just so they can dig their nose or ears with it. |
