I have decided to compare myself to a thai man to find out how fucking useless I as a white man am.

I drink beer more than health guide lines suggest I should.
your average thai appears to do the same with whiskey.

I have taken drugs.
Before taksin kiled them all many thais liked their Yaba

I have bet on football.
thais have bet on Chelsea, Manu, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I have hit a man at closing time.
Thais have hit a woman.

I have slept with several dark skinned issan harlots.
Thai men have slept with several underage dark skinned issan harlots.

I pay tax.
Thais have heard of tax.

So I'm as virtuous or useless as your average thai just about depending on your definition.

Before the social class apologists start slagging me for being working class and not as great as them allow me to imagine I was ruling class.

western man is corrupt but less obviously so.
Thai man takes bribes more obviously.

Western man, has some social responsibility. klong dewellers are not visibly allowed. Homless must live in cardboard boxes.
Thai man avoids paying taxes but allows the poor to live in iron shacks next to their land

As a man I think most Thai men are cool, but what they have confided in me as a mate would make me think differently were I a woman, this just is reality in all traditional societies.

Well, you really ought to qualify that and say 'some Thai men'. As it is it reads as western men don't do those things but all Thai men do.

For the benefit of our non native-speaking members, a more correct English language sentence would read "I spend most of my money on whores, booze and gambling, and I waste the rest of it on food and mortgage".
