Re: The Pak Tai Dialect Game

yes, you're correct.

I've heard of loog mood before but can't think of what it is now...all I know is some kind of fruit and I don't want to guess so I give up on this one.

อะยะละก่ะ! = Ooh La La ???

Loog Mood (ลูกมุด) is definitely NOT JamPaDa (จำปาดะ)
Loog Mood is part of the Mango family with a strong smells, and has rubber that's danger for your skin...I saw some in PhangNga...They use it for Gang Som...Yummy

LLL, maybe it's about time to share with your fans the definition of "Bao"
in Bao Dang, Bao Lake, etc...

Re: The Pak Tai Dialect Game

Good thinking mate. Bao บ่าว is the Southern word for older brother to be used as a central person would use the word Pii พี่ and I like it as it seems to be a much more familiar term.

Well said Lil bro.

Here's one for i1der; explain the word ไข่ (kai)
as in ไข่แดง or ไข่Tuart...
I love this thread.

I'd come to the conclusion that this was the case, based on your usage of it, LLL - but hadn't realised before that it was the Southern equivalent of Pii. This thread rocks!
BTW: "Bao" is also a common nickname for Southern guys, aswell as being an honorific, right?
