A thief, while in the process of robbing a Pattaya bungalow, on June 9, 2008, entered the bedroom, and spied a sexy Thai wife lying asleep in bed beside her farang husband. He then made an impromptu decision to make the most of the moment. He surreptitiously stripped off the Thai lady‘s bra and would have continued except for the husband inconveniently waking up. At this stage, the thief drew a knife, robbed the couple and escaped.
On June 9, at 5am, Deputy Superintendent Pol.Lt.Col. Samrit Khunchit, was notified by Mr. Mark Binks (47), an Irish man, that he had been robbed by a knife-wielding thief, while he was asleep in his Soi Khao-Noi house. A police team accordingly went to investigate.
At the bungalow, police officers met Mr. Binks and Miss Supaporn Suebsang (19), his wife, who were waiting, alarmed, for the police. Their two daughters, 7 and 8-years old who had been sleeping in another room were also present. Mr. Binks told police that while he and his wife were asleep in their bedroom A dark, well-built Thai man of around 30 – 40 had forced his way in via the back of the house. Initially, entering their daughters' bedroom to search for property, he had woken the two girls, who seeing the intruder had a knife, had sensibly remained silent. Apparently, finding nothing worth stealing, the thief then opened Mr. Binks' bedroom door and saw his wife sleeping, wearing only a bra and underwear. The thief then deftly stripped off his wife's bra, while she was fast asleep.
Mr. Binks said that at this point he had woken up, but the thief, realizing his amatory interlude was at an end, had threatened the Irishman with his knife and had robbed him of two Sony Ericson mobile phones and 40,000 baht cash, before escaping into the night.
Mr. Binks said he would like to sincerely ask the housing project owner to tighten up security as there have been 5 – 6 theft cases in the village in the past month. Police officers recorded the incident and took the fingerprints of the thief, accordingly.
