Re the law, I remember getting fucked over by a landlord, took the fucker to court (for free incidentally), the judge saw right through him and awarded the case to me and my 2 pals, jobless and scruffy as we were. An imperfect system fo' sho' but it works sometimes.

What's wrong with Transparency International? You're not saying you know more about corruption than them, are you?

My own opinion coincides with what they're saying anyway, ie. Thailand is more corrupt than any EU country. Don't see how that can really be disputed either.

I don't quite get where you're coming from Herr H. I can't lay claim to any kind of specialist knowledge on corruption. I know one or two things and I can see what's going on to the extent that any averagely intelligent person can. So when it comes to finding out more, I can go to a source (one that isn't motivated by fundamentalist Christianity or extreme anti-Semitism thank you very much) to find out more. If someone has a very different view from what this respected source says then I'm curious to know why.

China says that Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have got it all wrong about them. Their opinions are different, that's all. Is that it?
