A bar girl complained to Pattaya Police, on 5 October, 2008, that a German man had taken her to a room for sex and she had initially agreed to be videod having sex as long as her face wasn‘t shown. However, the German later insisted that she allow him to photograph her face. When she refused, he became angry, refused to pay her for the video service and chased her from the room.
Pattaya Police Inspector, Pol.Lt.Col Pomipat Namputtha, was notified by Ms Sompis, [38] that she had been cheated by a German tourist, who had refused to pay her after having previously arranged to give her money for taking part in a sex-video. The incident happened at Enterprise Apartments, North Pattaya. After receiving the report, police rushed to the scene.
Arriving at the apartment building, police found Ms. Sompis standing, crying in front of the closed door to the room where the incident had happened. Ms. Sompis told police that she had a regular German customer, called Peter, who when he came to Pattaya she would spend some time with. This time, after visiting Mr. Peter, he had recommended that she meet his German friend who was staying at Enterprise Apartments.
She agreed and went to meet Peter's friend, Mr. Schllig Klaus Dieter Werner (65). He agreed to pay her 1000 baht for sex and duly paid for the service when they finished. As she was about to leave, however, Mr. Werner asked her if she would take part in a sex video in front of his webcam, offering to pay her more. He promised that she did not have to show her face, so she agreed.
But, while having sex with him, he asked her to show her face in front of the camera. She refused and he became angry, refusing to pay her as he'd promised. She put on her clothes, in the hope of receiving her money, but, instead, he chased her out of the room. She then reported the matter to the police.
Police knocked on the door and found Mr. Werner still in the room. Police questioned him and he admitted that he had taken the webcam video, but had not saved it in his computer. He said Ms. Sompis had been a willing participant and he hadn't forced her to take part in the sex-video. Police searched his computer and did not find any photos or videos of Ms Sompis, but there were lots of photos and videos of other woman having sex with him.
After this, police took Mr. Werner and his computer to the police station for further investigation.
