    Yeah, definitely.
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." --Hermann Goering, Nuremburg

Knocking off a successful expat news editor is almost more noteworthy than a bar brawl that results in a stabbing. Both are very bad PR for beach community vacation destinations.

I don't think the 5 million was intended to buy his way out of the Thai justice system because I don't believe he intended to be caught once he reached old Blighty.
Based on him already doing 2 and a 1/2 for gun possession while committing armed robbery, being a doorman in Spain, living in Thailand for several months at a time without any visible income from the UK, managing to get out of Thailand and back to the UK and having 100,000 Pounds deposited in his account i think there is a little more to Aldhouse than a simple pea brained Chav.

I would expect he's connected to someone in some capacity.

This Aldhouse bastard is f*cked no matter where he ends up. He's either going to serve time in the UK or serve time in Thailand. The worst part for him is having to live with himself. I couldn't do it. Knowing that I stabbed and murdered someone, for basically no good reason, would haunt me for the rest of my life. If he doesn't feel that way now, he will eventually.

    Hope he rots in hell...

Taken from the Prison lonely hearts website.

Female wanted by aggressive psychopathic British kick-boxer for long term volatile relationship. Good sense of humor and a will to be regularly slapped around and abused are a must. Past achievements include fatally stabbing a US marine, two years bird for bungling an armed robbery and abusing petrified holidaymakers at Spanish beach resorts. Hobbies include Thai kickboxing, keep fit, indexing my vast collection of dangerous knives and wandering up and down the beach looking for foreigners to kill. Love travelling.
The worst job in Thailand must be the man who has to sit down with a blue marker pen and mark a number two on the two-baht coins to stop people thinking they are one-baht coins.

That's very clever. And you and I both know that he'll probably receive MANY propositions from girls who view him as some sort of alpha male.

I read that he wasn't stopped in the UK because of the crime here but because he skipped probation while out on license for the armed robbery.
He'll now be serving the penalty for that. Upon completion he'll be released and become a free man. He won't get extradited that quickly, even if the case goes to court quickly and the court does decide to grant the extradition, he'll be able to appeal (at the tax payers expense) at least 2 times.

If he doesn't get done for it, it will be kudos in his mind i would expect.

He put down a big US marine. He was living in Thailand and boning a Thai girl. He evaded the Thai police force and escaped a country. This should earn him major respect in a UK prison.
