At 04.00 p.m. today (30 Mar, 2011), an active low pressure covers Phang-nga, Phuket and Krabi. Torrential rain with heavy falls remains much of southern Thailand especially in the western part during 1-2 days. People should beware of flooding condition. The risk areas include provinces of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. The wind-waves 2-3 meters high are likely in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during the periods.
The high pressure covering Thailand will weaken by tomorrow (31 Mar, 2011). Cool weather remains in northern, northeastern, eastern, central and Bangkok during 1-2 day whereas temperature will rise in the daytime.
