    I remember back in 1975 after a day out at Windsor Safari Park I took my then girlfriend to watch the aeroplanes at Heathrow; something that clearly interested me more than her ... until Concorde flew over on a test flight.

    Charles deGaule has to be one of the worst airports in terms of design and location.

    Someone recently sent me an article from some liberal blog claiming that NY is the most heavily policed city anywhere in the US. With Bloomberg's approval, the cops are getting a rep for pushing the limits and are becoming viciously corrupt.
    Like I said though, the source was a liberal blog.

    Lost my luggage there on the way to Singapore once from a connecting flight. They upgraded me to first class for the FRA-SIN journey. Totally worth waiting an extra day for my luggage to catch up
