...Thai media have such a sense of humor:
The Nation: Former singer Phatchara Waengwan died yesterday of injuries sustained in a road accident several days ago in the United States, where she had lived for 20 years. She was 48.
The Bangkok Post: Patchara Wangwan, a popular singer in the 1980s, was found dead in her house's garage in the United States.
Mr Prasittiporn said Patchara was found hanging in the garage at Riverside, Los Angeles, by police on Wednesday but it was unknown whether she was murdered or had committed suicide.
...majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd...
jd, you haven't insulted or attacked me in like 24 hours and I miss it. Care to lobby something at me? If I may request homophobic slurs this time--the anti-semetic and snobbery ones are a bit played out for now.
...how about you pollute another thread?...one of russ's, say...
I would love to know the sources of information for such differing stories. This begs the question: ow can they be so different?
---Update---

Wow - you followed the link! I thought your next demand would be a cut-and-paste.
The Thai news reports are equally as ambiguous... Just spoke with the misses, and this morning the news said there was a crash. As I type this the news is saying she hung herself. Aparantly the Thai embassy has recieved the final conclusion of suicide
