The world football governing body decided the 12,000-seat stadium was not suitable to host the 2012 Futsal World Cup competition now underway in Bangkok , including the finals matches, due to safety concerns because its construction was incomplete.
From the Governor.....
"I will not resign, and please don't blame the BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Administration) and the staff. Just blame me,''
"I never thought of building the stadium for Fifa. It's for people of Bangkok,'' he said.
So why apologize?.....
It is a national shame - one which will be covered by lies and passing the buck. Fucking shocking. Really shocking. The Governor, the TFA and anyone who was remotely involved in this shameful incident should resign now. They won't though. I just find it unbelievable, even with the floods, that something on this scale could be unfinished. It is just fucking shocking. Muppets.
