The funny thing is that Matt doesn't look like a tall person. Really tall people tend to be long and bony looking, or just big all over. He is neither, and if you'd asked me to guess his height, I would have said 5' 11" or just slightly taller than me. And I've met him a half dozen times.
Back to the topic, my uni students don't seem to care anything about me. Not one has even asked what country I'm from. My factory students on the other hand seem to be obsessed with the minutae of my life in Thailand.
