Actually, I don't know either. Good luck!
Humans are built to be omivores, to eat mead and veggies. Our GI tract is not as long as a herbivore(cow) but not as short as a carnivore(tiger). The cow actually has 4 stomachs and regurgitates its food then puts it into another stomach, repeating the process 2 more times.
Birds have totally different digestive systems since they are not mammals.

http://www.firstmagic.com/vegan/The human digestive system, tooth and jaw structure, and bodily functions are completely different from carnivorous animals. As in the case of the anthropoid ape, the human digestive system is twelve times the length of the body; our skin has millions of tiny pores to evaporate water and cool the body by sweating; we drink water by suction like all other vegetarian animals; our tooth and jaw structure is vegetarian; and our saliva is alkaline and contains ptyalin for predigestion of grains. Human beings clearly are not carnivores by physiology -- our anatomy and digestive system show that we must have evolved for millions of years living on fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables.
I know these guys are prejudiced, but nonetheless they sound convincing...
How did the idea that you are not designed to walk straight come into your head? Were you always that way?
As for food, perhaps it's a matter of choice for us, humans, with all the moral, ethical, and religious undertones.
This doesn't make any sense. You on drugs? How did the idea that you are not designed to walk straight come into your head? Were you always that way?![]()
I'm guessing you mean walking on your hind legs, upright, not walking in a straight line? :smile:designed to walk straight
How did it come into my head? I thought it was a fairly widespread theory that that's why people tend to get back pain as they get older, that we're really designed to walk on all fours and we put too much stress on our backs by walking upright.

How profound. Are you sure you're not Snaff? As for food, perhaps it's a matter of choice for us, humans, with all the moral, ethical, and religious undertones![]()
Or would you like to swing on a star?
If you look at an animals digestive system and their teeth you can tell what type of food it should eat. Some consider teeth part of the digestive system.
Speak for yourself. Walking on all fours is awfully inconvenient for me, and I get strange looks, too.I thought it was a fairly widespread theory that that's why people tend to get back pain as they get older, that we're really designed to walk on all fours....
