Children love games and wholesome humors during discussion. They won"t get bored.

Re: Teaching Young Beginners

My students are having problems with English comprehension but when it comes to math problems and Math comprehension it becomes easy for them. someone once told me Thai's are far better at math than English, something i'm beginning to agree with. In saying that i'm not sure if they learn math in thai comprehension class answering question in full has we do. Does anyone know if they learn math problems with comprehensive questions in thai?

Not sure the level of Maths is quite as good as you may think. On paper they can solve huge sums and complicated equations but when it comes to applying it, they are often found wanting. Most maths exams I've seen have also been multiple choice. Problem come with the usual Thai teacher not asking any questions and challenging students to think and apply skills. Not true of every school but certainly what I've seen.

Jonah is in Bangladesh tho. Dunno if he is talking about Thailand or Bangladesh with that first sentence.

I know nothing about Bangladeshi kids, but the maths ability of Indian kids is legendary.
