Word Search / Puzzle Generators

I was using a all powerful wordsearch / puzzle / crossword program last year that was downloaded to the school pcs but I went and lost the bloody link.

I want one thats downloadable as some of the pcs here arent connected to the internet. Anyone got a got one?

If you switch to the magnificent MAC, then the is a program called 'Crossword Forge' http://www.solrobots.com/crosswordforge/ (it's also available on PC but I just thought I'd give Mac a plug

Hot Potatos

Good free bit of software that you can use to create Javascript web puzzles and quizzes for students. Includes Cloze, Sentence Mixup, Anagrams, Quizzes, and Crosswords.

Totally customisable with CSS. Could be useful not just in an internet arena, but as just something to put on a disk and load onto school computers for use offline. Apparently has a dramatic motivating ability for small boys who don't like learning English.

Beloved of CALL fanatics worldwide. As used to make the Ajarn Forum Quiz in the Pub.
