You overstay your visa by several months and try to fly out with no money and end up in detention like my cousin did.....

He was in detention calling my Uncle collect begging for money so he could pay the fine and he also needed a plane ticket.
My uncle, who'd helped before quite a few times, kept saying, "no."
I think that's.....when someone has been in Thailand too long - they've lost common sense because of their own stupidity.
