Oh, and buddhas stays at the banyan tree, which is a really cool hotel and which has a complimentary bar between 5pm and 7pm for guests... so there is some small way to justify the price

Yeah... can't remember which floor it is on, but it is the only thing on that floor (at least the only thing you can reach by the lift). My uncle was staying there last year and tool us for dinner on the roof... shit food and shocking prices. Officially you are not allowed to bring outsiders into the free bar, but we got away with 2 hours worth of jack cokes and vodka oranges for 4 of us.

You mean executive lounge? Yeah, I got that. Free breakfast too, but only if you stay in certain rooms.
