Re: Memorable gigs/festivals
 speaking of cork bands..
i saw the sultans of ping fc play in the theatre royal in limerick about 10 years ago. they played all of one song before a mass ruck stopped the show.
the lead singer thought it would be a good idea to introduce themselves by saying "so this is stab city huh?"
a couple of lads i knew got up there and gave him a good beating quite funny at the time

I met the guitarist from them at Washington Heights...and my mate used to roadie for them...not a big fan really.
Saw the Primitives at a small gig, they was good.
Also insulted Terry Bickers once when Levitation was playing (they were pretty good).
Saw PWEI a few times....they're a good band and the Beasite Boys can be good.

Re: Memorable gigs/festivals
Saw Carter as well...I like them...Sheriff Fatman rocks!!!
Luckily Reading Uni used to have some good gigs.
Shamen played there before blokey died and Mr. C was 'full time' with them.

They drive very nice tractors in that neck of the woods.
Delia Smith comes from there as well.

Re: Memorable gigs/festivals
Never got to see shows as a lad...I lived out in the sticks.
Saw Jesus Lizard live a few times.
Magic Hour
Sun City Girls
Tony Conrad
...all pretty good.
