I saw them just before Christmas in The Point 2003. I left early. They were atrocious. MacGowan was so delapidated and pathetic, he had to sit on the drum riser during the instrumentals and parts with no vocals. When he did 'sing' it was a slurred mess. The crowd (at the front anyway) were so pissed themselves and in such rapture of MacGowan they didn't seem to care. Most were just content with cheering "Shaaaaaaane-oo-oh, Shaaaaaaane-oo-oh" regardless of what was going on onstage or coming out of the PA. An absolute shambles.
I left the gig early.
They would have been excellent back in the day I'm sure.
