    Hi Hat

I'm a big fan of drummers, and in music its one of things i can pick out well. now i am listening to robert plant "in the mood for a melody" excellent hi hat work there, i also like phil collins in "dance with the volacano" on seconds out. also any other jean luc ponty songs. also anything he did with brand X. stu copeland does great work on the INS in question. whats your favorite piece of drumming? i love guitar but there isnt anything that sounds better than a well placed drum beat.

    "Burn" by Deep Purple

I'm a drummer (kind of). Know what you mean A-man.

There's some nice hi-hat in Smile Like You Mean It by The Killers.

Moby Dick is mental jimbo! When The Levee Breaks is great too.

Loz Colbert (Ride) could smash his kit about proper.

I love Mitch Mitchell. He was a groovy cat.

yeah, that's great, "my life in the bush of ghosts". collins is on "another green world" for the whole thing and scattered around all eno's albums around that period.

    Re: Hi Hat

For insane Hi Hat - Tony Allen!

Tony Allen is the Nigerian-born drummer, composer and songwriter who, along with Fela Kuti, pioneered afrobeat music, a new blend of jazz and traditional African juju and highlife, in the mid-1960s.

He is now in a band with the guy from Blur.
