Thread: Will Oldham/ Bonnie Prince Billie

I saw this guy live 6 or 7 years ago and at the time everone was listening to the "I see a darkness" album, but he never really clicked with me. Now I'm trundling closer to middle-aged I want to give him another chance. He's got a massive back catalogue under his various aliases and alter-egos.

zehner supplied me with 7 albums for my listening pleasure, bless 'im. I'm gonna get stuck into them for some listening this weekend, but I thought I'd start a thread to see what people here think. I know you're a fan Well.

Any opinions?

nah...it's bonnie 'prince' billy 'covering' old palace tunes...



basically, he's playing old palace tunes with a full-on country band. wasn't too enamoured myself, prefer the originals.
