Well hey if that doesnt bring back memories.
April 2007 i was back in Aus for the holidays with the then TGF , who my 17 year old black eyed , black haired , pierced every"ffn"where Goth throwback daughter had just met , and the friction was brewing.....
I decided to go down the south coast NSW where some wide open spaces might loosen everyone up a little... but by the time we left ulladulla the TGF and marylin manson were pissed over who got the front seat in the two door citroen and I was 2 tenths of f 'all away from hitting the Eject button...
JJJ radio in the background and what do i hear .... """ BONG ....... BONG ..... BONG """" Ok ,up goes the volume to number 11... " HEY DAD " WHOS THIS ?
Marilyn " trying to sound oh so cool in the back seat " calls out.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS ? " me broadcasts over stressed 20watt pioneers.... "ACCA*DACCA...... JAM THIS INTO YER"
We all rocked on to Hellz Bellz for a few mins , my daughter quite litterally amazed that dad might actually know some cool music that she didnt ...and then broke the ice with some THai Rock fusion ,TG and Marylin headbanging to gutteral german .\,goth spittal./ cd's ....and...

\All Was happy in My little world for the next week.

I remember being really bummed out one night that I had to work in the states because a band called "Hell's Belles" was playing. An AD/DC chick cover band. Oh how I wanted to see that.

But, sometime later a band called Hayseed Dixie came through. They were an bluegrass band that covered AD/DC tunes. Now that was interesting.
