I am look for a thorough grammar book in Hat Yai or Songkhla.
Also, I would appreciate it if you can furnish me with the name of the book store, address, contact info, and price of the book.
Thanks.
Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get!
Geez Trav...you don't want much, do you. There really isn't a good ESL bookstore in either town.
Thats what I thought! I have scoured Hat Yai to search for a good book store for ESL books. Although there are a few, none are impressive. I will have to find it elsewhere I guess.Originally Posted by MisterStretch

The point is mate, what can you do by yourself. There are 5 requests in one there. :smile:Also, I would appreciate it if you can furnish me with the name of the book store, address, contact info, and price of the book.

Just a store name and location is good enough. No need for smartas@ remarks AO and risktohimself!..........LOL

'Grammar for English Language Teachers', Martin Parrott. I use it every day (even on the weekends). You'll have to order in from Amazon.
Traveler,
In only thirty minutes I found two bookstores in HY that can supply your needs. The SE-ED bookstore at Carrefour plaza has several good grammar books. Murphy (highly recommended by almost any teacher who has ever used it) was 475 baht. They didn't have prices on the books so you will have to ask.
The second one was at Diana Plaza, also SE-ED, they had a more varied selection of books (go figure), prices are the same.
