I have noticed that books over here tend to be over priced but I haven't bought one for a while so i checked out what was on offer at B2S. Yeah, I found a great book called 'The Last Executioner' which is about a thai prison executioner. Well worth checking out as it's really griping, a bit heavy in places but a real page turner. Anyone else read anything good lately.
I bought and read this book recently. I couldn't put it down, it was excellent.

^^Because It was such a good book, I didn't spill glue onto it.
Read Underworld by Don Delillo. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Michael Connelly, The Lincoln Lawyer is worth a read.
You shop at B2S? Boycott B2S. They shrink wrap their books so you can't browse in the store. See this thread.
How about the library, Neilson Hays it's called. I checked it out today with my family and thought they had a great selection of books, the kids section was very good, annual subscription is 2800bht for a family or 2000 for adult...www.neilsonhayslibrary.com Now we can spend more money on beer!!
Read "A Time of Gifts" by Patrick Leigh Fermor. True story. Lad gets kiced out of school and at 17 years of age, for lack of naything better to do, decides to walk from Holland to Istanbul during the early 1930s. 50 years later he writes up his travels in retrospect of the second world war, etc.

They do this with some books at Kunokinuya (sp?), but if you want to look through them you can just take them up to the counter where they will take the shrinkwrap off.Originally Posted by OhhhYouKnow
