    English book shops in BKK?

    Hey all, I teach in Chaiyaphum and I am coming this weekend to BKK. I need books to read! Does anyone know of book shops w/a good selection of English books?

    Kinokuniya in The Emporium or Siam Paragon shopping centres are the best by a street

    Dasa is a little secong hand bookshop between Sukhumvit 26 and 28 that's OK too.

    Elite used book store! 2 shops down from Villa Supermarket on Sukhumvit rd (just past Soi 33) its also opposite the Emporium so you check out if Elite has what you want and if not cross the road to buy new books at Kinokuniya.

    There are a number of used bookstores on or near Kao San Road. The best seem to be at the end near Gullivers.

    If your ever in Pattaya try Canterbury Tales Cafe and Bookshop, Soi Chaiyapoon and thier other branch on soi Bauhkow called "Book Cafe"

    Aye, a great place for a few hours of browsing. Penguin Classics for 90 baht, cheaper than second hand.
