I think the US, as well as the British, publishing industry is actually German.

Which would account for the preponderance of in-your-face shit being published throughout the Anglosphere.

I read it, but two days usage still means it's brand new to me!

I don't know why, he didn't even look at it beyond seeing that it was a hard cover. He had plenty of hard cover books on the shelves and he had all of the books in this series with the exception of this one which is the latest. Wheel of Time.

I read a book every week or so... newspapers, articles online, a bunch of shite on forums... Although, if I were a publisher I would definitely target the female audience... less risk. It's the same reason Hollywood has become much more kid friendly.
    This is it... The apocalypse.

I've always got a couple of books on the go - I usually go for biographies of adventurers and travellers as I find a lot of common ground

I read a ton of ebooks, some old ones from Project Gutenberg and some newer ones downloaded from torrents.

My wife told me that she loved to read when she was a schoolgirl, but got out of the habit when she got older. Knowing how much most Thais read, I took this with a grain of salt. Recently she's had some health problems, basically chronic panic attacks, and so I suggested that she do some reading to take her mind off of things. She's now going though about 3 books a week! Can anyone recommend a good Thai bookstore near Ratchada? The SE-ED at Jusco doesn't have much of a selection.
