I read to forget.
"vast and black. the thing that was poised, like a crow over the moon. round and smooth. cannon balls. things that have fallen from the sky to this earth. our slippery brains. things like cannon balls have fallen, in storms, upon this earth. like cannon balls are things that, in storms, have fallen to this earth. showers of blood. showers of blood. showers of blood. I read a book every week or so... newspapers, articles online, a bunch of shite on forums... Although, if I were a publisher I would definitely target the female audience... less risk. It's the same reason Hollywood has become much more kid friendly.

I read Playboy and Golf Digest every month

I am so keen to read, I force myself to block out the damn TVs on the BTS.
I read a ton of ebooks, some old ones from Project Gutenberg and some newer ones downloaded from torrents.
My wife told me that she loved to read when she was a schoolgirl, but got out of the habit when she got older. Knowing how much most Thais read, I took this with a grain of salt. Recently she's had some health problems, basically chronic panic attacks, and so I suggested that she do some reading to take her mind off of things. She's now going though about 3 books a week! Can anyone recommend a good Thai bookstore near Ratchada? The SE-ED at Jusco doesn't have much of a selection
