    Secondhand Grammar/Teaching Books in Bangkok

    Hello-

We will be taking a CELTA course in Bangkok in November, and would like to purchase Jeremy Harmer's How To Teach English & Martin Parrott's Grammar For English Language Teachers to use during (and after) our course. However, we would prefer not to take up space in our luggage w/such substantial books; we are wondering if anyone in Bangkok might have copies s/he would like to sell to us. If not, are they fairly easy to obtain in bookshops there? Thanks for the info.

    Hi,

You noted two books. It might be safer to purchase them in the U.S. and bring them with you.

Yes, people have those books I'm sure in BKK, but it'll probably be difficult to have someone sell it/trade with you.

Second hand book shops often don't have the good EFL books in my opinion.

You could try BKK books at Makkasan in BKK, though.
