Best deals are in the THAI classifieds. Buy them and have a Thai sort through them for you.

In Songkhla, you have to jump on the back of a Motorsi, and trawl round houses that llok vacant, ask the neighbours who owns it and then persuade the owners that you are not THAT kind of farrang. Better still get a Thai to get the price first, before they know a farrang is involved....and snap it up when it becomes too late for them to back down on price..
