Thread: Jobs through internet?

Obviously it is easier to find a job when you're in situ but is it really that difficult to find something through the net? If you are ten thousand kms from Thailand sometimes that's the only option.

You can go there first like we used to do before the Internet. That is if you have a pioneering spirit (aka balls). Unless you're super qualified I doubt you'll command much respect from an email sent from your sofa.

No problem with what you call the pioneering spirit (balls or no balls) -last time we moved unseen to an island in the Indian ocean, but it took over a year to find work -but the surf was great. My teacher wife is super , highly qualified i;e; Tefl+MA + 10 years teaching in primary schools and 3 language schools! Thanks for the reply anyway -we'll just have to see won't we!

Okay, with such qualifications and flexibility on your part as to where you work, you should get one or two jobs within a fortnight. But I would second Natalie8 in another thread, saying you got to be here in Thailand or you are wasting time.
