Is it hard to find a teaching job in a very specific part of Bangkok?

I have a friend who lives in yannawa district Bangkok who offered to let me stay with them for free. How hard do you think it would it be to find a English teaching job within a commutable distance?

I have a degree and a basic online TEFL, but no teaching experience.

...Yannawa is crowded, polluted, and devoid of bts or mrt stops...commuting anywere from there (even within Yannawa) could be a daily challenge...that said, feet on the ground and a personal survey of the area will turn up schools that may hire you...

How long do you plan to teach?

maybe shack up with your mate until ye get a job... then, get a place near your best job offer... you can always visit or yer mate visit you.

    1) I know there is a BRT that runs through every ten minutes and links up with the chong nosi sky train. I have spent a few weeks there before so i'm kinda familiar with the area. But transit to the south of the river could be an issue.

    2) I was thinking about staying for a year (possibly two) and then trying to move somewhere else outside of thailand (korea/taiwan or something?).

    3) Yeah I guess thats reasonable

    4) I'd say its my main motivation, but there are a few smaller reasons.

Well, that's four posts and four name and shames. Sorry, too high maintenance. Bye.
The worst job in Thailand must be the man who has to sit down with a blue marker pen and mark a number two on the two-baht coins to stop people thinking they are one-baht coins.
