Hi Matt, do what you want to do, if you want to go to Thailand, go its your life, you dont need validation from anyone. I hope this quote helps you decide whatever you want to do, be it stay or go.
I'm the one that has to die when it's time for me to die, so let me live my life, the way I want to.
Regarding the thread, forum trolls are a waste of space 555
Regarding the course, i am in two minds:
T&T: For the 6 week course and good reviews.
IH Bangkok: For the CELTA 4 week course, and good location in silom.
Chichester College could be a third choice.
These all have good points, I generally need to make the right choice for myself!
I took the CELTA at IH Bangkok (although I ended up not teaching) and made a couple of comments on it in this thread, if you're interested:

Thanks for the link Merlin.
I am in the motion of going with Text and Talk. Has anyone seen genuine good reviews around for them?
This is such a hard choice!
Do T&T give you much actual teaching practice? If you're not sure if you're going to stay in Thailand, maybe the CELTA would be better as it's internationally recognised (not sure if the T&T one is).
Thanks for the input Underdog, Being able to teach in other countries would be interesting and a wider experience.
I am not sure i would get bored of thailand though!!
