Thread: American TESOL Institute - Special Thai Project

Has anyone ever gone through this company before? They are offering a few different programs $950 Bangkok and $750 Phuket. They provided accommodation throughout the program and then place you in a job for 4 to 5 months at 30,000 baht with accommodation also provided. I am considering going through them because I like the assurance of having a job provided for me and it also seems like most schools don't provided accommodation as this one does. I have been emailing back and forth and also found that I can do an online course for $300. Would I be at any disadvantage having only an online certification? Again even with the online course they will place you in a job with paid accommodation.

If you must do TESOL or TEFL or whatever, do it in person. American TESOL Institute is probably no worse or better than others ...
